ROASTED GARLIC PARMESAN BROCCOLI

I’ve made a lot of food in my kitchen over the years. Especially lots of sides to go with all kinds of main dishes. Let me tell you something-this is THE side. It’s the one. Your new go to side dish if it isn’t already. Thats not even assuming that you’re a broccoli fan. I’ve converted a bunch of non believers with this one. I’m not sure how I found this recipe. It could have been given to me or maybe I found it online somewhere. Either way, I’ve tried to spread it around to as many people as I can. Turns out I’m not alone in my feelings. Basically everyone who’s tried it is instantly obsessed, too.

It’s really easy to make. Here’s what you need & how to do it:

💥Lay Broccoli florets down on a parchment paper lined baking sheet 💥Lightly drizzle them with olive oil 💥Season them with salt, pepper & garlic powder💥Toss the broccoli & make sure it’s coated evenly💥Bake at 400° until they’re nice & crispy (about 15 min)…..

Time to bake them

💥When they’re done to your liking, squeeze the juice of 1 lemon on top 💥Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese & serve 🙌🏼.

🥦 I said to bake these until they’re done to your liking because I like mine really crispy. My whole house does so I always make them that way. People always comment when I post this that my broccoli looks burnt. Not to me at all. To me, those crispy edges are the best part.

🥦 If you’re not a lemon fan- don’t worry. The lemon taste isn’t strong at all. You really can’t even taste it but that’s a part of the recipe so I do it.

🥦I used precut florets this time because they were on sale. Usually I’ll take the whole broccoli head and chop it up. You can do either.

🥦I prefer garlic powder on this instead of fresh garlic. I like my broccoli well roasted like I mentioned. I don’t want to run the risk of burning the garlic. If that happens the whole taste is off to me.

🥦 I’m a big fan of “shaker” Parmesan cheese. I just grew up on it and love love love it. If you want to use freshly grated Parmesan cheese- go for it. The fresh stuff actually tastes the best but I use what I have & this time it was the “shaker” kind.
