EASY English Muffin Pizzas
From the recipe collection of Al Adente Diva
When I was in first grade my classmates parents all submitted recipes to be put into a class “book”. I say book but it was really just a bunch of bad copies strung together through a hole punch. Gotta love the 80’s.
Anyway, these easy english muffin pizzas were one of the submissions. My Mom and I made it together and I remember it like it was yesterday. I felt so involved and accomplished when it was done. Just like a real chef!
This is what sparked my interest in cooking. I’ve since made this recipe with a bunch of kids in my life. I love seeing their sense of pride when it’s done. If you have an aspiring chef on your hands, these easy english muffin pizzas may be a great one for you to try together.

You’ll Need:
- English Muffins
- Tomato Sauce
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Pepperoni (optional)
- Baking Sheet
How To Do It:

First, Slice the english muffins in half and lightly toast them in the oven.

Next, add some tomato sauce to each top of the english muffin.

Now add some shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.

This is the time to add toppings if you’d like to. I added some pepperoni slices.

Its finally time to bake it in the oven! Just let them cool off for a little and you’re ready to eat.
Some Notes:
🍕Use a good sauce. I’m not against some store bought brands for convenience purposes alone. But I happen to have a good recipe for tomato sauce if you need one.
🍕Don’t be tempted to skip the toasting step. I’ve done that before and it’s not as good. The sauce makes the English Muffin too soggy. You should be able to pick it up and eat it without it being a floppy mess.
🍕Shred your own cheese it really does make for a better melt. Plus that’s a great job to give a kid to do if they’re helping you.
🍕If you want to add a little extra flavor, add some garlic powder and Parmesan cheese before adding your toppings.
🍕One last thing, Thomas English Muffins now come in sandwich size. Which means you can make even bigger ones if you want. Keep an eye out for them.
I hope you try this one! If you’ve been making these for a while, then theres always a good time to do them again 😊.
