If you’re a parent, chances are you know exactly what peanut butter and jelly uncrustables are. Kids seem to really love these things. Well, at least mine do. And why wouldn’t they? Peanut butter and jelly stuffed into little bread pockets with NO CRUST?!

No kid can resist that. Peanut butter and jelly uncrustables are super easy to make at home, too!

I especially like them when I need a quick and easy lunch for school. They’re so convenient!

When I was packing one up for my sons lunch recently and figured they’d probably be super easy to make. I did a quick google search and sure enough- there are plenty of people making peanut butter and jelly uncrustbales at home.

The way that I make mine is with whatever I have around the house but they actually sell a little cutter specifically for making uncrustables at home. CLICK HERE to check it out on Amazon.

Why Make Them At Home:

  • It’s way cheaper to make these at home then buying them in the store.
  • You can customize them accounting to your kids preference.
  • They’re freezer friendly.
  • They’re guaranteed fresh & super easy to make.

So now that we know why making peanut butter and jelly uncrustables at home is a great idea. Let’s learn how to make them.

You’ll Need:

  • Peanut butter of your choice
  • Jelly of your choice
  • Bread of your choice (I prefer white)
  • A circle cookie cutter, drinking glass or a plain old knife.

Here’s How To Do It:

Place the peanut butter in the center of the bread. Leave room around the edges to make sure the bread will seal properl
Add the jelly on top of the peanut butter.

Place a slice of bread on top.

ou can use whatever you have to cut out the actual circle. A cookie cutter works, so does an upside down drinking glass or knife. Doesn’t matter.

Just be careful if you use a glass, obviously you don’t want to break it.

Variations:

When you make peanut butter and jelly uncrustables at home, you have the luxury of customizing them. Use the peanut butter of your choice, creamy or chunky-whatever you want! Jelly options are up to you. You can even switch out the white bread for a healthier option.

If you’re buying these in the store, I really hope you give this a shot and try to make them at home.
