There’s noting quite like a big juicy burger when you’re in the mood. You know, the kinda burger that you have to bring out the extra napkins for. I have the perfect melted cheese for burgers trick that I would like to share with you
It took me a while to figure out what was lacking from the burgers that I was making at home. Something was missing and I didn’t know what. It wasn’t the beef, it wasn’t the toppings or even the buns. It was the cheese! The cheese didn’t meet the standard for an incredible burger at home. Time to change that!
I worked in a bagel shop when I was a kid. We didn’t serve burgers but we had all kinds of deli sandwiches. When customers would order a sandwich-hot- we’d throw in on the flat top grill, add some water and place a little dome over it until the cheese was melted.
This was it! This was how I was going to get my cheese melted perfectly for the burgers.
So, the next time I made burgers I tried it. It worked like a charm and I’ve been doing it ever since. It truly, in my opinion, is whats makes all the difference when you’re making burgers at home.
Here’s What You’ll Need:

Here’s How To Do It:

That’s how you do it. Nothing complicated or hard about this method. It’s awesome how a simple little trick like this can make so much of a difference.
If you haven’t tried this method yet, I hope you do next time cheeseburgers are on your menu. Oh and if you’re looking for something delicious to dunk that perfect burger into, how about some Copycat Big Mac Sauce.
