McDonald’s is famously frequented for a lot of things but nothing quite beats the allure of the Big Mac. All the fast food burger joint “big guys” have a lot of the same options like burgers, fries, nuggets and even the shakes.

But McDonald’s brings a little something special with their Mac Sauce. People love a good Big Mac. I happen to have a copycat Big Mac Sauce recipe that’s as close to the real thing as you can get.

I’d be lying if I said you could never tell them apart. Cause you can. I don’t know what they have going on in there. Ronald McDonald is a sauce wizard or something. But I promise, it’s close! And if you’re into their Big Mac sauce, you’ll love this too.

  • Mayonnaise
  • French Dressing
  • Sweet Relish
  • Minced White Onion
  • Vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Salt

Mix all of your ingredients together and let them chill in the fridge for a few hours or even better, over night.

Make the burger however you like it then use this special sauce on the bottom bun
And then add some to the top of the burger, too!
Oh yes! That’s what I’m talking about!

If you need some ideas on how to season a burger at home I have a great recipe for that.

Also, don’t forget to melt the cheese like a pro. Here’s a tip:

Multi Use Sauce:

Of course when taking about Mac Sauce we’re zeroing in on burgers. But you don’t have to stop there. This sauce is a great dipping sauce for fries, too. If you’re going bun less, a Big Mac salad is a pretty cool way to go, too. Using the sauce as a dressing is fantastic!
