Baked Glazed Ham Recipe

If you’re into ham then you just hit the jackpot with this recipe. It’s been in my family for generations. My grandfather was the first in my family to make it and now we all do.
Holidays come like Thanksgiving and we skip the turkey all together. Glazed ham is not only what we want but also food we most look forward to!
I’m one of four kids and my mother knows now to make this ham for every family gathering. My siblings and I absolutely love it.
Sometimes it’s a fight for who gets to keep the bone. That depends on who’s in the mood to make pea soup!
I never asked my mother for the recipe growing up. Glazed ham was her thing in my eyes. I was happy enough to wake up smell making its was to my second floor bedroom.
Not until I got married and started hosting holidays myself did I finally ask for it.
I was blown away with how easy it was! I guess cooking a big piece of meat intimidated me. It just looked like it would be complicated but it’s not at all!
Thankfully for me it’s the easiest recipe ever. Easy and delicious! This glazed ham will be made at my holiday dinner table for generations to come I’m sure!

What You’ll Need:
- 1 large Ham (8-10 lb fully cooked ham)
- Brown Sugar
- Mustard
- Maple Syrup
- Roasting Pan

Leftovers:
Probably the best part of making an entire glazed ham are the leftovers! Now that you have them, here are so many things that can be done with it. Here are a few ideas.
- Omelets
- Sandwiches
- Soups (like split pea soup)
- Salads
- Pizza topping
- Pasta
That’s just to name few you can use the leftovers in anything you can imagine!

SIDE DISHES
There are many side dishes that go with this glazed ham so choose whatever your family will like the best. I highly recommend this macaroni and cheese if you’re making this for a crowd. Its always a huge hit when I make it with the ham, This roasted broccoli is a great choice, too!

I hope you like this one!
