Do I have to use Nutella?
We’ll, this is Nutella french toast so I would recommend it strongly but you don’t have to use it.
Peanut butter would be a nice alternative or any flavor jam or jelly would work, too.
What bread should I use?
I used regular white bread slices with the crust cut off but you can use whatever you’d like.
Brioche or challah bread works very well but the choice is yours completely.

First cut the crust off your bread of choice.

Now slice the sandwich into three equal parts.
In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk and vanilla.
Then quickly dip the Nutella sandwich pieces into the egg mixture quickly on both sides.
Don’t soak it too much or it will fall apart.
