Course Appetizer, Snack
Cuisine American, Chinese

Ingredients

  • 5 Lbs Chicken wings, separated into wings and flats
  • 8 Oz Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbs Ginger Paste
  • 2 C Brown Sugar, lightly packed
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbs Ground Mustard
  • Sesame Seeds and Parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add the chicken wings, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger paste, garlic, and ground mustard. Mix everything together until it’s evenly combined.
  • Cover the bowl and place it into the fridge for 24 hours.
  • After 24 hours, remove the wings from the fridge and give them a nice big stir. Cover them and place them back into the fridge for another 24 hours.
  • After that, drain as much of the marinade as possible off the wings and place them on a foil lined baking sheet.
  • Place the wings in the center rack of a 375° preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  • Flip the wings and place them back into the oven for another 20 minutes. Check the wings! If too much marinate is on the pan, the wings may burn. Please keep an eye on them and remove them sooner if needed. As long as the wings reach an internal temperature of 165° they’re good to go!
  • Let them cool slightly, garnish with sesame seeds and parsley (optional) and enjoy!
