Course Salad, Side Dish
Cuisine American, Italian
- 1 Pound Small Shell Pasta, cooked to al dente
- 2 Cups Frozen Peas
- 2 Cups Bacon Bits or Cooked and Crumbled Bacon
- ¾ Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
For The Dressing
- 1.5 Cup Mayonnaise
- ¼ Cup Olive Oil
- 2 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbs Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbs Onion Powder
- 2 Tbs Dried Parsley
Run the cooked pasta under cold water (to stop the cooking process), strain it, and add it to a large bowl.
Add the frozen peas (no need to thaw them), bacon and parmesan cheese.
In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and parsley. Pour the dressing into the bowl of pasta.
Mix everything together until it’s evenly combined and pour it into the pasta bowl.
Cover the bowl and place it into the fridge for 2 hours so the flavors can combine.
Toss everything together one last time, serve and enjoy! (If the pasta is a little too dry, feel free to add in a few more tablespoons of mayonnaise).
