Equipment

  • Oven Safe Pot or Dutch Oven

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Pounds Ground Beef
  • ½ Medium Onion, diced
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced (divided)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (divided)
  • 1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
  • 24 Oz Jar Marinara Sauce
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 2 Cups Heavy Cream, room temperature
  • 1 Pound Spaghetti, cooked to al dente in salted water
  • 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese, grated (divided)
  • 1.5 Cups Mozzarella Cheese, hand shredded
  • Parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium-high heat until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess grease from the skillet. Add chopped garlic and season the beef with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
  • Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and the marinara sauce. Let the beef and marinara mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove it from the heat and set aside.
  • In a large oven safe pot or Dutch oven, melt the butter over medium low heat. Add the red pepper flakes, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Dijon mustard and fresh chopped garlic. Stir everything together and let the garlic and seasonings cook in the butter for about 1–2 minutes.
  • Slowly stir in the heavy cream. Add half of the parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese and stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti directly to the cowboy butter cream sauce and toss until the pasta is completely coated. Spoon the ground beef and marinara mixture evenly over the top of the creamy spaghetti. Sprinkle additional Parmesan and mozzarella cheese over the top.
  • Place it into the oven for 20 minutes. Let it rest for a few minutes, garnish with parsley (optional) and enjoy!
