Beef And Broccoli

This beef and broccoli is just like the takeout version but made fresh at home with thin slices of seasoned beef and broccoli in a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Skirt Steak, sliced thin
  • 1 tbs Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbs Corn Starch
  • 1 tbs Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large head Broccoli, cut into florets and steamed
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced

For The Sauce

  • ½ cup Beef Broth
  • 1 tbs Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 3 tbs Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbs Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbs Corn Starch

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, add the sliced skirt steak, 1 tbs of soy sauce, and 1 tbs of corn starch. Mix everything together until it’s evenly combined and let the steak marinate on the counter for 10–15 minutes.
  • Add 1 tbs of vegetable oil to a large skillet over medium high heat and add the steak. Cook the steak for about 5 minutes total stirring frequently and add in the minced garlic and ginger.
  • Stir in the steamed broccoli and let everything cook together for about 3 minutes
  • Meanwhile, in a medium sized bowl, stir together all of the sauce ingredients.
  • Add the sauce to the beef and broccoli and toss everything together until it’s evenly coated.
  • Finally, let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken up. Let it cool slightly and serve warm over white rice. Enjoy!
