Ingredients

  • 4 tbs Butter
  • 3-4 Onions, chopped (yellow or white)
  • ¼ cup White Wine
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Bacon, cooked and crumbled (save some for garnish later)
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire Sauce
  • ¼ cup Scallions, chopped (save a little for the topping)
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha (add more if you want more heat)
  • 1 tbs Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Wavy Potato Chips

Instructions

  • Melt the butter over medium high heat in a large skillet and add in the chopped onions.
  • Salt the onions, give them a big stir and turn the heat down to low.
  • Now, cook the onions on low for about 40-50 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the onions turn a golden brown color.
  • Next, carefully add the wine and turn the heat back up to medium high. Cook the onions, stirring frequently for about 4 minutes and then let them cool.
  • Now, in a medium sized bowl, add the cream cheese, mayonnaise and sour cream. Season it with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • Then, add the scallions, chopped bacon, caramelized onions, Worcestershire sauce and sriracha.
  • Next, stir everything together until it’s evenly combined and place it into a serving bowl. Garnish the top with more chopped scallions and bacon bits and serve room temperature and with wavy potato chips. Enjoy!
