Melt the butter over medium high heat in a large skillet and add in the chopped onions.
Salt the onions, give them a big stir and turn the heat down to low.
Now, cook the onions on low for about 40-50 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the onions turn a golden brown color.
Next, carefully add the wine and turn the heat back up to medium high. Cook the onions, stirring frequently for about 4 minutes and then let them cool.
Now, in a medium sized bowl, add the cream cheese, mayonnaise and sour cream. Season it with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Then, add the scallions, chopped bacon, caramelized onions, Worcestershire sauce and sriracha.
Next, stir everything together until it’s evenly combined and place it into a serving bowl. Garnish the top with more chopped scallions and bacon bits and serve room temperature and with wavy potato chips. Enjoy!
