Preheat the oven to 350°
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes and add the ground beef.
Season the beef with salt, pepper and half of the garlic powder and break it down into small pieces as it cooks. Drain the fat if necessary.
Next, add the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce and season it with salt, pepper, the rest of the garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Stir everything together until it’s evenly combined and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the cooked egg noodles into the skillet and toss them into the sauce. Place the mixture to a 9 x 13” baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Then, top with shredded cheese and place it in the oven, uncovered, for about 20-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Finally, let it cool slightly, garnish with parsley (optional) and serve warm. Enjoy!
