Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 package Canned Biscuits
  • 1 ounce Taco Seasoning Packet
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, hand shredded
  • Toppings- Sour cream, diced tomatoes & shredded lettuce

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°
  • First, open the can of biscuits and separate them. Take each biscuit and using your fingers, carefully separate each one, horizontally, into two.
  • Then spray the holes of a muffin tin with cooking spray and place one half of the biscuit into each one. Using your fingers, push the biscuits down into the holes and up against the sides.
  • Now, in a medium sized skillet, cook the ground beef and season it according to the directions on the back of the taco seasoning packet.
  • Then, turn the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheese until it’s melted into the taco seasoned ground beef.
  • Next, spoon the filling into each of the uncooked biscuit cups.
  • Now, place the muffin tin into the oven for about 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked all the way through.
  • Then, let them cool slightly and carefully remove the taco cups using a butter knife to help pull them out if needed.
  • Finally, top each one with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and sour cream. Serve warm and enjoy!
