Ingredients

  • 1 Box Devils Food Cake Mix
  • 1 ½ Cup Cherry Coca Cola (divided)
  • 3 Eggs
  • ½ Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 14 Oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 8 Oz Hot Fudge
  • 20 Oz Cherry Pie Filling
  • 8 Oz Cool Whip
  • Chocolate Shavings & Maraschino Cherries, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°
  • In a large bowl, add the devils food cake mix, 1 ¼ cup of Cherry Coke, eggs and vegetable oil. Mix the batter until it’s smooth. Add the batter to a greased 9 x 13” baking dish. Place it into the center rack of the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the cake is baked all the way through.
  • Let the cake cool to room temperature and using the back of a wooden spoon, poke holes about 2 inches apart half way down into the cake.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk and ¼ cup of Coca-Cola. Evenly pour the mixture over the cake and using the back of a spoon, push it into the holes.
  • Warm the hot fudge and pour it over the cake. Push the hot fudge into the holes also.
  • Spread the cherry pie filling evenly on top of the cake.
  • Now, spread the cool whip evenly on top of the cherry pie filling layer.
  • Place it into the fridge for at least a couple of house to let the flavors and cake set.
  • Finally, add some shaved chocolate and maraschino cherries on top. Serve cold and enjoy!
