Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbs Olive Oil
  • 1 Pound Ground Italian Sausage
  • 1 Small Onion, chopped
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbs Tomato Paste
  • 28 Oz Crushed Tomatoes
  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream (room temp)
  • ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • ¼ Cup Fresh Basil, shredded
  • 1 Tbs Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Pound Mezzi Rigatoni

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat and brown the Italian sausage, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Add the onion and cook until softened. Stir in the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant then stir in the tomato paste for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Pour in the crushed tomatoes season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Add the fresh basil.
  • Finally, toss with cooked pasta until fully coated and enjoy!
