1 Pound Fettuccine & a ladle of pasta water 4 Oz Cream Cheese, softened and cubed 1 Stick Unsalted Butter ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated 4 Cloves Garlic, minced 1 Cup Heavy Cream microwave it for 20 seconds before adding it 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Salt and Pepper to taste
Melt the butter over medium high heat in a large lipped pan. Add the fresh garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Slowly pour in the heavy cream and add the cubed cream cheese. Whisk until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Turn the heat to low and stir in parmesan cheese and season it with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Please keep in mind that the cheese is salty.
Add the cooked pasta and pasta water to the sauce. Stir everything together until the fettuccine is evenly coated in the sauce.
Finally, let the pasta sit for a couple of minutes to thicken up. Give it one more final stir, serve and enjoy!
