Easy Beer Cheese

Easy Beer Cheese is made with light beer and a creamy, seasoned cheese sauce making it the perfect pub style appetizer for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbs Butter
  • 2 tbs Flour
  • ¾ cup Light Beer
  • ¼ cup Whole Milk
  • 2 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Dried Parsley Flakes, for garnish ( optional)
  • Kings Hawaiian Soft Pretzel Bites

Instructions
 

  • First, in a large skillet over medium high heat, melt the butter and whisk in the flour for 2 miutes.
  • Next, slowly whisk in the beer and milk and continue whisking for about 2 minutes or until it starts to thicken up.
  • Now, add it the cream cheese, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper and whisk until smooth.
  • Next, take the skillet off the heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until the cheese is melted and well combined..
  • Finally, add parsley for garnish (optional) and serve warm and with Pretzel Bites for dipping. Enjoy!
