Easy Cheeseburger Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Small Onion, chopped
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 (10.7) Oz Cans Campbell's Tomato Soup
  • ¼ Cup Water
  • 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese, hand shredded, divided
  • 1 Pound Medium Size Pasta Shells cooked Save one ladle of paste water
  • Parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • In a large skillet, add the ground beef and onion over medium high heat. Brown the beef breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any extra fat and season it with salt, pepper and onion powder.
  • Stir in the worcestershire sauce and let it cook for 1 minute then stir in tomato soup and water. Turn the heat down to low and let it simmer for about 5 minutes
  • Then stir in half of the shredded cheese and a ladle of the pasta water. Add the shells and stir them into the sauce.
  • Add the mixture to a greased 9 x 13" baking dish and top it with the rest of the shredded cheese. Place it into the center rack of the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Let it rest for 5-10 minutes and sprinkle the top with parsley (optional). Serve warm and enjoy!
