First, in a large mixing bowl, make the brownie mix according to the directions on the back of the package.
Now line a baking pan with parchment paper leaving about an inch popping out of the sides. This will make it easier cut the brownies later. If youd like to skip the parchment paper, just grease the pan.
Then pour the brownie batter into the parchment paper lined pan.
Next, in a separate bowl add the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg. Beat all of the ingredients together using an electric mixer until they are evenly combined.
After that, pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie mixture. Take a toothpick or butter knife and run it over the cream cheese and brownie mixture creating a swirl or whatever kind of design you’d like.
Next place them in the center rack of a 350° preheated oven for about 40 minutes or a toothpick can be inserted and removed clean.
Finally, let them cool completely and pull up the parchment paper sides pulling the brownies out of the pan with it.
Now you can slice them into squares and serve. Enjoy!
