Easy Cheesy Pesto Bombs Recipe

These easy cheesy pesto bombs are made with store bought pesto and mozzarella cheese baked in the center of buttery baked dough.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Can Pillsbury Mini Pizza Crust
  • ½ Cup Premade Pesto
  • ½ Cup Mozzarella Cheese, cubed or hand shredded
  • 1-2 Tbs Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Open the tube of mini pizza crusts and separate each one. Using a rolling pin, gently roll them out so the dough is larger and thinned out. Spread a thin layer of pesto into the center of each one and add some mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Tightly close the dough around the pesto and mozzarella cheese. Place them seam side down on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Using the palm of your hand, push down on the rolls to flatten them out just a little bit.
  • Now brush the tops with a little olive oil. Place them into the center rack of the oven for about 20 minutes or until the dough is cooked all the way through. Finally, let them rest for 5 minutes, serve and enjoy.
