Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
In a large skillet, melt the butter and add the ground beef. Break the beef down into small pieces using a wooden spoon or spatula as it browns. Drain the fat from the pan once it's done.
Add all of the seasonings, worchesterhire sauce, the gravy packet and beef broth. Stir everything together until its evenly combines.
Now, stir in the cream of mushroom soup cans and frozen vegetables.
Add the beef mixture to a greased 9x13" baking dish and smooth it out until it's evenly spread out.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Add dollops of the mashed potatoes to the top of the meat and cheese. Using the back of a spoon, gently spread the potatoes around until they are completely covering the top.
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until the potatoes start to brown and the sides are hot and bubbly.
Sprinkle with parsley and let the cottage pie sit for 5-7 minutes to firm up before serving. Enjoy!
