French Onion Rice Recipe

French Onion Rice takes a can of French onion soup, long grain rice and only a few other pantry staples for the most delicious side dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Stick Unsalted Butter, cut into pads
  • 1.5 Cups White long Grain Rice, rinsed under cold water
  • 1.5 Cups Beef Broth
  • 10.5 Oz Can Campbells French Onion Soup
  • 2 Tbs Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Add the butter to the bottom of a dutch oven or baking dish.
  • Add the rice, beef broth, soup and seasoning. Stir everything together.
  • Cover and place it into the center rack of the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Carefully remove it from the oven and give it one big stir. Then cover and place it back in for another 30 minutes. Fluff the rice before serving and enjoy.
