Season them with half of the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss the chicken wings in the seasoning until they’re evenly combined.
In a medium-sized bowl, add the flour and season it with the other half of the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir the seasoning into the flour until it’s evenly combined.
Then, coat the chicken wings in the flour and place them in a bowl.
Next, pop the chicken wings into the fridge for one hour and KEEP THE REST OF THE FLOUR.
Now, add the chicken wings back into the flour and coat them again.
Then, in a large, lipped skillet, add the oil and heat it over medium-high heat.
Then, fry the chicken wings in batches until they are cooked through and golden brown on all sides. This should take a total of 8-10 minutes.
Next, carefully remove the chicken wings and place them on a wire rack to drain.
Now, in a medium-sized saucepan, heat the BBQ sauce and honey over medium-high heat, stirring frequently for about 3 minutes.
Now, in a large bowl, add the chicken wings and BBQ sauce, and toss them together until the wings are coated in the sauce. Serve warm and enjoy!
