In a large pot, boil the corn in water with 1 stick of butter for 5-7 minutes or until the kernels are soft.
Melt 1 stick of butter and pour it into a baking dish and then add the corn. Roll it into the butter and season it on all sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Add the garlic parmesan sauce to the top each piece of corn and brush it into all sides.
Place the baking dish on the center rack of the oven for about 10 minutes.
Finally, add the freshly grated parmesan cheese onto the top of each one, garnish with parsley (optional), serve warm and enjoy.
