Lemon Alfredo Sauce

Lemon Alfredo sauce is made with a flavorful cream and cheese sauce with just the right pop of fresh lemon for a meal the whole family will love.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Any Kind Of Cooked Pasta (plus one ladle of pasta water)
  • ½ stick Butter
  • 1 tbs Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 large Lemon Juice and Zest
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 tbs Garlic Powder
  • Parsley for Garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large lipped skillet, melt the butter and oil over medium high heat, and sauté the minced garlic for one minute.
  • Slowly pour in the heavy cream and season the sauce with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir it into the sauce.
  • Then, stir in the zest and juice of one lemon.
  • Stir in the softened cream cheese until it’s completely melted into the sauce.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until that’s melted into the sauce also.
  • Add a ladle of the pasta water and cooked pasta into the sauce. Toss the pasta into the sauce until it’s evenly coded. Serve warm, garnish with parsley (if desired) and enjoy!
