Lemon Pepper Chicken Thighs

Easy oven baked lemon pepper chicken thighs are perfectly flavored in lemon, garlic and just a few other simple seasonings then baked in the oven until golden brown.

Ingredients
  

  • 2-2.5 Pounds Chicken Thighs, bone in and skin on
  • 2 Med Lemons (one for the zest & juice and the other for a garnish)
  • 2 ½ Tbs Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1 Tbs Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbs Onion Powder
  • 3 Tbs Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbs Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tbs Minced Garlic

Instructions
 

  • Add the chicken thighs to a marinating bowl and add the oil, lemon zest and juice, 2 tbs of lemon pepper seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, minced garlic and parsley.
  • Massage the ingredients into the chicken thighs until everything is evenly combined.
  • Place them side by side in the baking dish and sprinkle the top with the rest of the lemon pepper. Cover and place them in the fridge to marinate overnight.
  • When they’re ready to be cooked, preheat the oven to 400° and add some cut pieces of lemon for garnish to the top
  • Place the chicken into the center rack of the oven, uncovered for 40 minutes. Broil them for an additional 3-5 minutes or until the skin becomes crispy.
  • Let them cool slightly and serve warm. Enjoy!
