First, heat the oil in a large pan and sauté the onion until it’s soft. Add the garlic and cook it for one more minute.
Now add the butter, tomato paste, flour, Italian seasoning and lightly season with salt and pepper.
Then stir it all together and let it cook over medium high heat for about 2 minutes.
Next, stir in the chicken stock and cream.
After that, add the sun dried tomatoes and a little bit of the oil from the jar that they come in.
Now stir in some shredded basil and Parmesan cheese.
Finally, add some pasta water and reseason the sauce with salt, pepper, italian seasoning and garlic powder. Add the pasta and toss it into the sauce until it’s evenly coated.
Serve warm and enjoy.
