Pink Marinara Alfredo Sauce
Add a little Jarred Alfredo Sauce to this easy marinara recipe for a brand new delicious sauce.

- 2 tbs olive oil
- ½ medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tbs Italian seasoning (more if desired)
- 1 28oz crushed tomatoes
- 1 tbs garlic powder (more if desired)
- salt and pepper to taste
- ½ jar prepared Alfredo Sauce
- 1 box bowtie pasta
- 1 ladle pasta water
In a large skillet with a tall lip, heat the olive oil over medium high heat. Add the onion, garlic and Italian seasoning. Saute for about 2 minutes or until the onion is soft
Now add the crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Reduce the heat to a simmer and let the sauce cook for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
Then add the Alfredo Sauce and stir it into the crushed tomatoes. Taste the sauce and add more Italian seasoning, salt, pepper and garlic powder if you'd like. Simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
Add a ladle of pasta water to the pink marinara Alfredo sauce and stir it in. Add the pasta to the sauce and stir until the pasta is coated in the sauce.
Serve warm and enjoy!
