Sour Cream And Onion Egg Noodles
Sour cream and onion egg noodles are made by tossing cooked egg noodles in a flavorful homemade sour cream and onion sauce for a simple dinner the whole family will love.

- 12 Oz Wide Egg Noodles plus a ladle of pasta water
- 6 Tbs Butter
- 1 Small Onion, diced
- ¼ Cup Chives, chopped (saved some for garnish)
- 1 Envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 16 Oz Sour Cream
First, boil the egg noodles in salted water.
While the noodles are cooking, melt the butter in a large pan over medium high heat and add the diced onions.
Add Lipton Onion Soup packet. Let the onion and onion soup packet sauté together for about 4 minutes or until the onions are soft.
Add a ladle of pasta water and stir it into the onions and onion soup packet for about 3 minutes.
Add in the cooked and strained egg noodles, sour cream and chopped chives.
Gently stir everything together until the noodles are evenly coated in the sour cream and onion sauce.
Finally, garnish with more chopped chives, serve warm and enjoy!
