Spicy Vodka Rigatoni

Spicy vodka rigatoni is an easy to make spicy, creamy tomato sauce with a little bit of vodka coated in rigatoni pasta for a dinner everyone will love.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbs Olive Oil
  • 1 tbs Red Pepper Flakes (add more for more heat)
  • 1 tbs Italian Seasoning
  • 6 ounces Tomato Paste
  • ¼ cup Titos Vodka
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tbs Butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbs Garlic Powder
  • 1 pound Rigatoni Pasta
  • 1 ladle Pasta Water

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
  • Lightly season it with salt and add the hot pepper flakes and Italian seasoning. Let them simmer together for about 2 minutes stirring frequently.
  • Add the vodka and turn the heat up to medium high. Stir it into the seasoned onion and garlic and let the vodka gently boil for about 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the tomato paste and then the heavy cream,
  • Season the sauce with salt, black pepper and garlic powder and add the butter. Let it cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the pasta water and cookedrigatoni pasta.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese and toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce. Finally, serve warm and enjoy!
