Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf
This stove top stuffing meatloaf uses a box of stuffing instead of traditional breadcrumbs for a truly unique spin on a classic recipe.
Course Main Course
Cuisine American
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 6 oz box Stove Top suffing (any flavor you want) I used savory herbs
- 1 cup water or vegetable broth
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 oz can Brown Gravy
- ¼ cup Ketchup
- Fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Pour out the box of stove top stuffing into a large bowl and add either the water or vegetable broth. Stir it in and let it sit for a few minutes until the stuffing softens.
Then add the eggs and ground beef. Season it with salt, pepper and onion powder.
Next add about ¼ cup of the brown gravy and the ketchup.
Mix everything together until it's just evenly combined. Don't over mix the meat or it will become too dense.
Place it on a parchment paper lined baking dish and form it into a meatloaf shape.
Bake it for about 45 minutes or until the beef is cooked all the way through.
Warm up the rest of the gravy and add it to the top of the meatloaf. Spread it out evenly.
Sprinkle the top with fresh chopped parsley, slice and serve warm. Enjoy!
