The Best Corn On The Cob

The best Corn on the cob you'll ever try is made by boiling fresh corn on the cob in a mix of water, milk, butter, sugar and salt to bring out all of its naturally delicious flavors.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 ears Corn on the cob
  • 6 cups Water
  • ¼ cup Salt
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 stick Butter
  • ¼ cup Sugar

Instructions
 

  • First, shuck the corn and remove any extra silk. Leave the corn whole or cut in half if you prefer.
  • Then, bring the water and salt to a rapid boil and turn the heat down to low.
  • Now, stir in the milk, butter and sugar.
  • Next, once the butter has melted, add the corn.
  • Then, cover the pot and let the corn cook for about 5-8 minutes.
  • Finally, remove the corn from the pot, serve with additional butter and salt if desired and enjoy!
