I am such a sucker for dinners like this creamy tortellini with pancetta and peas.

Between the crispy pancetta, stuffed cheese tortellini and that creamy sauce, it’s a dinner that I can’t resist. Not to mention the way those little peas pop!
My family loves any and all tortellini recipes, too. It really is the ultimate comfort food.

Creamy Tuscan Tortellini, Sausage Tortellini Soup and Million Dollar Tortellini are all in my regular dinner menu rotation throughout the year.
This meal is one that I especially love to make because it’s incredibly easy to make. I can have this on the table and ready to eat in under 30 minutes.

So be sure to save this one for a busy week night because it’s the perfect thing to throw together. Just add some Homemade Garlic Bread and you’ll be good to go!
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and I do.
Creamy Tortellini With Pancetta And Peas Variations
I like this recipe for tortellini made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Tortellini- I prefer cheese for this one but use any kind of tortellini filling that you’d like.
- Pancetta- I have pancetta linked above in my Amazon store but if you can’t find it/ would rather use bacon that would be just fine, too.

Creamy Tortellini With Pancetta And Peas Ingredients

- Pancetta
- Refrigerated Cheese Tortellini
- Onion, diced
- Garlic, minced
- Heavy Cream
- Parmesan Cheese
- Frozen Peas
- Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder and Italian Seasoning
Instructions
First, in a large skillet, cook up the pancetta over medium high heat until golden and crispy.

Then, using a slotted spoon, remove the pancetta (leave the grease in the skillet) and set it aside.

Now, add the chopped onion and garlic and season them with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Sauté until soft.

Next, slowly stir in the heavy cream. I like to microwave it for 15 seconds or so first to warm it up just a little bit.

Then, stir in the Parmesan cheese and re- season the sauce with a little more salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

Now, add in the tortellini and frozen peas.

Next, stir them into the sauce, turn the heat to medium and place the cover on top of the skillet.

Then, let the tortellini cook in the sauce for about 5-7 minutes or until they are plump and reach your desired level of texture.

Now, add the crispy pancetta and give everything one final toss together until well combined.

Finally, serve warm and enjoy!
