Cheesy Pepperoni Bread

Cheesy pepperoni bread is made with pepperoni, provolone and mozzarella cheese baked inside prepared pizza dough for an appetizer, snack or meal that the whole family will love.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Prepeared Pizza Dough
  • Flour, for dusting
  • 10-12 slices Provolone Cheese, or 1 cup shredded
  • 15-20 slices Pepperoni (from the deli is preffered because they are larger)
  • 10-20 slices Mozzarella Cheese, or 1 cup shredded
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 tbs Italian Seasoning
  • ¼ cup Marinara sauce for dunking (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°
  • Roll the prepared pizza dough out into a lightly floured surface into the shape of a rectangle.
  • Cover the surface with slightly overlapping slices of provolone.
  • Add the pepperoni slices to the top.
  • Cover the pepperoni with the sliced of mozzarella cheese.
  • Fold up the dough on the shorter sides and jelly roll the dough up horizontally.
  • Place the pepperoni bread seam side down onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet, brush the top with the beaten egg and sprinkle it with italian seasoning.
  • Place it into the center rack of the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bread is golden brown on top and cooked all the way through.
  • Let the bread cool on a cutting board or wire rack for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Finally, slice the pepperoni bread into 1-2” pieces. Serve with marinara sauce (optional) and enjoy.
