Dorito Crescent Roll Taco Bake is made with a crescent roll crust, taco seasoned beef, salsa, sour cream, refried beans, crushed Doritos, and melted cheddar cheese baked together for an easy family dinner.
Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Unroll the crescent roll sheet and press it into the bottom of the baking dish, stretching it gently to fit. Bake the crescent roll crust for about 5 to 6 minutes, just to par bake it.
While the crust is baking, cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Drain the grease if needed. Add the taco seasoning and prepare the taco meat according to the directions on the seasoning packet. Stir the salsa and sour cream into the taco meat until everything is evenly combined.
Once the crescent roll crust is done par-baking, spread a thin layer of refried beans over the top. Add the taco beef mixture over the refried beans and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle a thin layer of crushed Doritos over the beef mixture. Add the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Place it into the center rack of the oven for about 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, the edges are golden, and everything is heated through. Let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
