  • ½ Cup Carrots, chopped
  • ½ Cup Onions, chopped
  • ½ Cup Frozen Peas
  • 2 Tbs Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • Vegetable Oil (as needed)
  • 4 Tbs Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter and sauté the carrots for 5 minutes. Add he onions and lightly season them with salt and pepper. Once the vegetables are soft, add the minced garlic and stir for 1 minute.
  • Add about 1 tbs of oil to the skillet and whisk the beaten eggs into the vegetables just until they’re cooked. Try your best not to over cook the eggs.
  • Add the white rice into the skillet and drizzle it with a little more oil (about 1 tbs). Add the peas and stir everything together. Cook the rice in the skillet for about 2-4 minutes stirring frequently.
  • Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Please keep in mind that the soy sauce is salty.
  • Stir the sauces into the rice mixture and let that cook for a couple more minutes. Then plate the rice, let it cool slightly and enjoy!
