In a medium size pot, heat the olive oil, add the onion and saute it for about 4 minutes or until the onion are soft, stirring frequently. Add the garlic and Italian seasoning. Sauté for about 2 more minutes. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
Turn the heat up until tiny bubbles just start to form then reduce the heat to low. Let the sauce simmer for about 30 minutes stirring about once every 5 minutes. Reseason if needed and enjoy!
