Skillet Nachos Recipe

These easy to make skillet nachos are the perfect combination of seasoned ground beed and melted cheddar cheese over crispy tortilla chips.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 2 Oz Taco Seasoning
  • ½ Cup Salsa, mild
  • 1.5 Cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Tortilla Chips

Instructions
 

  • Make the ground beef according to the directions of the taco seasoning packet. Keep in mind to use 2 ounces of seasoning instead of 1 for extra flavor.
  • Add the salsa and stir it into the beef over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the cheese on top of the seasoned beef and salsa and turn the heat down to low.
  • Add the top onto the skillet and let the cheese melt for about 3 minutes. Once you see that its melted, remove the lid.
  • Arrange the tortillas down on a serving platter in a single layer and carefully pour over the beef and cheese. Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
