The Best Marinated Tomatoes Recipe
Balsamic vinegar, honey, basil and only a few other ingredients come together to give you the best marinated tomatoes you’ll ever have.

- 3-4 Medium Ripe Tomatoes
- ¼ Cup Balsamic VInegar
- 2 Tbs Honey
- 2 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 Tbs Garlic, chopped
- ½ Cup Olive Oil
- 3 Tbs Basil, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ Small Red Onion, sliced (optional)
First clean and dry the tomatoes. Then carefully remove the stem area and slice them into wedges. Set the sliced tomatoes aside.
In a medium size bowl, add the balsamic vinegar, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic, basil, salt pepper and olive oil and stir them together.
Pour the mixture over the sliced tomatoes and toss to combine.
Cover the tomatoes and place them in the fridge for 2-24 hours.
Finally take the tomatoes out of the marinade, sprinkle them with a little extra salt. Add sliced onion (optional) and enjoy!
