The Best Marinated Tomatoes Recipe

Balsamic vinegar, honey, basil and only a few other ingredients come together to give you the best marinated tomatoes you’ll ever have.

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 Medium Ripe Tomatoes
  • ¼ Cup Balsamic VInegar
  • 2 Tbs Honey
  • 2 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tbs Garlic, chopped
  • ½ Cup Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbs Basil, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ Small Red Onion, sliced (optional)

Instructions
 

  • First clean and dry the tomatoes. Then carefully remove the stem area and slice them into wedges. Set the sliced tomatoes aside.
  • In a medium size bowl, add the balsamic vinegar, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic, basil, salt pepper and olive oil and stir them together.
  • Pour the mixture over the sliced tomatoes and toss to combine.
  • Cover the tomatoes and place them in the fridge for 2-24 hours.
  • Finally take the tomatoes out of the marinade, sprinkle them with a little extra salt. Add sliced onion (optional) and enjoy!
