- Tomatoes
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Honey
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Garlic
- Fresh Basil
- Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- Red Onion (optional)
How To Make Them
Here is how to make these incredible tomatoes. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions on the recipe card below.
First, carefully remove the stem area from the tomato. Slice them into wedges and set them aside. In a medium size bowl, add the balsamic vinegar, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic, basil, salt pepper and olive oil and stir them together. Pour the mixture over the sliced tomatoes and toss to combine.

Now, cover the tomatoes and put them in the fridge for 2 to 24 hours. Remove the tomatoes from the marinade and lightly salt them. Serve alone or toss in some sliced red onion (optional) & enjoy!

What Tomatoes Should I Use?
This marinade works for every kind of tomato. If you are using larger tomatoes, cut them into wedges or even dice them if you’d like. Smaller tomatoes like grape or cherry can just be simply sliced in half. As long as the tomatoes are cut in some way so the marinade can penetrate inside and do its thing you’re good!
How Long Should I Marinate The Tomatoes For?
It’s recommended to let these tomatoes sit marinating for 24 hours. If you just don't have that kind of time, 2-3 hours at least would be ok.
Storage
Place the tomatoes into a food safe, air tight container. They will last in the refrigerator for up to three days.
