Crockpot Mississippi pot roast is a dinner that the whole family will love.

Truth be told I’m not really a huge fan of crockpot recipes in general. So the recipes that I share using one are those rare gems that I really enjoy.
The pot roast turns out so juicy and flavorful every time and it couldn’t be more simple to make.

I love that I can throw everything in the crockpot and have dinner completely ready in eight hours.
It’s the perfect dinner recipe for a busy weeknight when I don’t have time to sit and babysit the stove.

Crockpots really are so awesome in that way. They can be such huge timesavers.
So when I find a recipe that I find really works well in one, it makes me so happy.
This recipe is delicious over some sour cream mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice. They’re all fantastic choices.

We’ve eaten it with so many different things and it’s always a huge hit. Even my picky kids love this one.
I especially like making this recipe in the fall and winter months when the cold weather starts rolling in.

When a nice, hearty dinner like this one really hits the spot.
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and I do.

Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast Variations
I like this recipe made as it is, but here are some ways to switch it up if you’d like to.

- Cook Time- 4-6 hours on high instead of 8 on low would work.
- Gravy- If you can’t find the Au Jus packet, a dry brown gravy packet would do.
- Serving- Serve this roast over mashed potatoes, egg noodles or rice.
