These crispy fried chicken tacos are a family favorite around here.

Everyone in my house just absolutely loves them. Myself included.
They’re beyond easy to make and perfect for a busy weekday dinner.

I’ve made these for many after school snacks and lunches, too. They’ve even made an appearance or two at our big game watching parties.
The small tortillas are the perfect grab and go appetizer. Finger food at any party is the best!

Most of the ingredients are pantry staples that I keep on hand. Making them super easy to throw them together in a hurry.
Tacos are one of these recipes that everyone loves from the adults to the kids. They’re a great dinner choice when you need to serve a crowd.

They’re sure to be a hit. Not just in my house, but no matter where you serve them or for what occasion.

Fried Chicken Tacos Variations
I like these chicken tacos made just the way they are, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Chicken- Instead of shedded rotisserie chicken, any cooked and cubed chicken would work for this recipe.
- Tortillas- Corn or Flour tortillas are both ok to use.
- Air Fryer- These tacos can be made in the air fryer, too. Just brush them with a little olive oil and pop them into a 400° air fryer for about 8 minutes total- flipping half way.

- Cheese- Use whatever kind of cheese you’d prefer. Just be sure to shred it yourself and avoid the preshredded stuff that comes in a bag. It will melt way better that way.
- Spicy- To add some heat to these tacos, try adding a hot and spicy taco packet, adding diced green chilis or use a cheese with a little kick to it like pepper jack.
