Caramel apple dip is made with sweetened cream cheese, caramel sauce, and a crunchy toffee topping for a truly crowd pleasing dessert.
From the recipe of Tara Ippolito

This caramel apple dip is sweet, creamy and incredibly easy to put together. It comes together in just minutes, uses simple ingredients and tastes just like a caramel apple that you'd get at the fair. Just without the sticky mess and fuss of making one at home. This dessert is absolutely perfect for fall parties, holidays, game days or any time you need a delicious no bake dessert.
Ingredients
Heres everything you'll need to make this delicious dip. You can find the full recipe along with measurements and instructions on the recipe card below.
- Cream Cheese- The base of the dip. Gives it a creamy, rich texture.
- Vanilla Extract- Adds warmth and depth.
- Powdered Sugar- Sweetens the dip while keeping it smooth and fully but not grainy.
- Caramel Sauce- The star flavor of the show! Adds a buttery sweetness and that classic caramel apple taste. I used Ghiradelli Caramel Sauce here.
- Heath Bar Toffee Bits- Adds lots of crunch and texture that contrasts perfectly with the smooth dip. If you can't find Heath Bar Toffee Bits, you can chop some Heath Bars into small pieces.
- Green Apple Slices- Fresh, crisps and cuts through the richness.
Instructions
Heres how to make this delicious apple dip. You can find the full ingredients list along with instructions in the recipe card below.
First, in a large bowl, add the cream cheese and beat it with a hand mixer for about two minutes. Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract and smooth the mixture out into serving dish.
PRO TIP: Be sure to have the cream cheese at room temperature before mixing it to avoid clumps.

Next, add a layer of caramel sauce and sprinkle the Heath Bar Toffee Bits on top.
PRO TIP: If the brand you're using is too thick, warm it in the microwave for a few seconds. It will make it easier to pour. I recommend Ghiradelli Caramel Sauce.

Finally, serve with the green apples for dipping and enjoy!
NOTE: Let the dip chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes if you'd like a slightly firmer dip.
PRO TIP: Slice the apples right before serving to avoid them getting brown.

What Apples Work Best For This?
Green apples like Granny Smith are ideal for this because their tartness balances out the sweetness of the dip. Honeycrisp and Pink Lady would both work, too.
Storage
Place the dip into an air tight container. It will last in the fridge for up to three days.
