From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito
These bacon cheddar and jalapeño pinwheels make such a delicious appetizer or snack.

I love making these for parties because they can be made ahead and served room temperature. That makes my life so much easier.
Not to mention, they’re super easy to make, too.

Anything I can do to save time when trying to prepare for guests is right up my alley.
The flavor combinations in these is fantastic, too. I always get a ton of compliments whenever I make them.

The heat can be adjusted in this recipe, too. So pull back on the jalapeños to make them kid friendly if you’d like to.
This is the kind of recipe that can be made for anything from a nice holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas to casual hangouts at home.

I’ve made these for many football Sundays over the years, too. They’re always a huge hit.
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love them just as much as my family and I do.

Bacon Cheddar And Jalapeño Pinwheels Variations
I like this recipe made just the way it is but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Dough- phyllo dough can be used here instead of crescent rolls. Just keep in mind that cooking times may need to be adjusted.
- Seasoning- use a dry ranch seasoning packet instead of the seasonings listed in the ingredients to add a different flavor to this appetizer.
- Bacon- premade bacon bits or cooked bacon that’s been crumbled can be used here.
- Cheese- Feel free to use any kind of cheese that you’d like. It all works for this recipe. Just be sure to shred the cheese yourself because it will melt much better that way.
- Heat- Omit the jalapeños all together if you’d like to. To add more heat, add more jalapeno and try a spicy cheese like pepper jack.
