This creamy Tuscan tortellini is a delicious, easy to make dinner that the whole family will love.

This pasta is one of my family’s favorite meals. We all love it including my two very picky boys.
I usually make this easy comfort food meal on cool fall and winter nights. It really sticks to the ribs and keeps us full for hours.

Also, it really couldn’t be easier to make. I can put this together and have dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes.
These are exactly the kind of recipes that I need for busy week nights.

The sauce is creamy and flavorful and goes perfectly together with the cheese tortellini.

Creamy Tuscan Pasta Variations
I like this recipe made just the way it is but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Pasta- use any kind of filling for the tortellini if you’d like besides cheese. You can also skip the tortellini all together and use any kind of pasta that you’d like.
- Meat- feel free to add a little cooked pancetta, ground beef or ground sausage to the sauce.
- Broth- Use chicken or vegetable broth if you’d like. They both work.

- Butter
- Onion, chopped
- Garlic, chopped
- Sun Dried Tomatoes
- Vegetable Broth
- Heavy Cream
- Baby Spinach
- Cheese Tortellini
- Parmesan Cheese
- Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Italian Seasoning, Hot Pepper Flakes
Instructions
First, in a large skillet, melt the butter over medium high heat and add the chopped onion and garlic.

Now, add salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and hot pepper flakes and sauté the onion until it is soft.

Then, add the chopped sun dried tomatoes and sauté them for 1 minute.

Next, slowly stir in the vegetable broth.

Now, slowly stir in the heavy cream and season the sauce with salt, pepper, garlic power and italian seasoning let the sauce cook for about 2 minutes.

Then, add the baby spinach and stir it into the sauce into the spinach has wilted.

Next, add the cooked tortellini and Parmesan cheese.

Finally, toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce. Serve warm and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 tbs Butter
- 1 small Onion, chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
- ¼-1/2 cup Sun Dried Tomatoes, chopped
- ½ cup Vegetable Broth
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup packed Baby Spinach
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1 pound Cheese Tortellini, cooked
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 tbs Garlic Powder
- 2 tbs Italian Seasoning
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium high heat and add the chopped onion and garlic. Add salt, pepper, 1 tbs of the Italian seasoning and hot pepper flakes and sauté the onion until it is soft.
- Add the chopped sun dried tomatoes and sauté them for 1 minute.
- Slowly stir in the vegetable both and heavy cream. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and the rest of the Italian seasoning and garlic powder and let the sauce cook for about two minutes.
- Add the baby spinach and stir it into the sauce into the spinach has wilted.
- Add the cooked tortellini and Parmesan cheese.
- Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce. Serve warm and enjoy!
