These breaded baked artichoke hearts are such a simple and delicious appetizer.

I love stuffed artichokes, but making them can sometimes be a huge hassle. They’re also difficult to serve when feeding a crowd.
This recipe is a nice little alternative that gives a very similar result as stuffed artichokes with way less of the hassle.

I love making these for holidays or family get-togethers because they’re always a huge hit and require very little effort to put together on my part.
We have a lot of artichoke lovers among our friends and family so this recipe is the perfect choice for a side dish.
They are delicious on their own, but we like to serve these with a little ranch dressing or even marinara sauce on the side for dunking.

Breaded Baked Artichoke Hearts Variations
I like this recipe for artichoke hearts made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Air Fryer - these can be made in the air fryer, too. Preheat the air fryer to 390° and cook them for 5 minutes on each side.
- Herbs- Feel Free to add extra herbs to the breadcrumb mixture for some extra flavor.
- Artichoke Hearts- leave them whole or cut them in half if you prefer
- Dipping Sauce- These are delicious dipped into a little ranch dressing or marinara sauce.

- Canned Artichoke Hearts, drained and patted dry (in water NOT oil)
- Melted Butter
- Italian Seasoned Breadcrumbs
- Parmesan Cheese
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°
First, add the melted butter to one bowl and mix together the seasoned breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper in the other.

Now, dip the artichoke hearts into then butter and then into the breadcrumb mixture.

Next, continue breading the artichoke hearts and place them onto a parchment or foil lined baking sheet.

Then, place them into the oven for 18-20 minutes flipping half way.

Finally, let them cool slightly and serve warm. Enjoy!
