Philly Cheesesteak Sliders
From the recipe collection of Tara Ippolito
These Philly cheesesteak sliders are one of my favorite things that make my kids for dinner or lunch during the week.

They are so incredibly easy to put together and always such a huge hit in my family.
My local grocery store, ShopRite sells packages of very thinly shaved steak from time to time. Whenever I see them, I always make sure to grab some and a package of Kings Hawaiian rolls for dinner that night.

We love getting cheesesteaks down at the Jersey shore in the summertime. This is an awesome way to get that experience right at home.
My kids aren’t really huge fans of vegetables in general. But between the perfectly seasoned steak and all that gooey cheese, they don’t even notice that there’s peppers and onions in this recipe.

Don’t notice or don’t seem to care. Either way they eat these up with zero complaints.
I made these for so many dinners, lunches, and I’ve even taken them to friends’s house for parties.

They always make a big impression whenever I take them to football watching parties, especially. ?
I hope you get this recipe to try, if you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and I do. ?

Philly Cheesesteak Sliders Variations
I like this recipe for Philly cheesesteak sliders made just the way it is, but here are some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Steak- if you can’t find shaved steak in the grocery store, you can always slice your own steak very thin.
- Vegetables- Feel free to add in some more vegetables like extra peppers and onions or mushrooms if you’d like.
- Buns- I used Kings Hawaiian,, but this recipe works on any kind of slider buns or rolls that you’d like. You can continue the recipe with the garlic butter or omit it completely. ?

What can I use instead cheese whiz? Make a roux with another type cheese and mix in?
Al Dente Diva says
I’d either use velveeta or just add some shredded cheese to the steak and mix it in
