My goodness is this lemon alfredo sauce absolutely delicious.

Traditional fettuccine alfredo is one of my families favorite recipes. My boys love it and we wind up having it for dinner often.
I’m always looking for little variations and this recipe is perfect.
It’s amazing what just adding a little bit of fresh lemon juice and zest can do. Just that little variation adds so much fresh flavor.

My son’s 11th birthday was last week and I served this to our family and friends who came to celebrate.
What a big hit!

Now that’s the true indicator of a great recipe. Zero leftovers.
I picked up some Malfaldine pasta at homegoods and decided this was the perfect pasta sauce recipe to use it for.

Feel free to use whatever kind of pasta that you’d like. It all works.
I hope you give this recipe a try. If you do, I know you’ll love it just as much as my family and I do.

Lemon Alfredo Sauce Variations
I like this pasta sauce recipe made just the way it is, but here’s some ways to change it up if you’d like to.

- Pasta- use any kind of pasta that you’d like to this recipe.
- Parmesan Cheese- Any form of grated Parmesan cheese would work for this recipe, but try if you can to use freshly grated Parm. It will give the sauce a lot of really nice flavor.
- Wine- Some white wine can easily be incorporated into this recipe. Just add about ¼ cup to the butter, olive oil and minced garlic before you add the heavy cream and let it gently boil for about 2 minutes.
