If you like the classic sandwich, then you're going to love this BLT dip. Its like a taste of the whole thing in every scoop. The smokey bacon, juicy tomatoes, crisp lettuce and creamy base all come together to create the most irresistible appetizer. This is the kind of appetizer that practically disappears right in front of your eyes at parties, game days or casual get togethers.
What makes this dip so good is the balance and contract between the smooth, creamy base and crunchy and cool topping. It comes together with simple ingredients and can be prepared super quickly. Its the perfect dip for entertaining. Give it a try and I promise, you'll be hooked.

- Toppings- add whatever extra toppings you’d like such as shredded cheese, green onions or olives.
- Tomatoes- Cherry tomatoes can be halved and used for this recipe but I prefer the look of diced tomatoes. Choose whatever you like best.
- Chips- any kind of chip would do here but I personally love the bagel chips for this one. It gives it more of a “real” BLT taste if you ask me.

- Cooked & Crumbled Bacon- Adds a smoky, salty crunch that gives it that unmistakable flavor. I like Smithfield Thick Cut Bacon.
- Shredded Iceberg Lettuce- Lightens the dip and prevents the cream cheese base from feeling too heavy.
- Diced Tomatoes- Adds juiciness and mild acidity.
- Sour Cream- Lightens the dip and adds a slight tanginess. I used Daisy.
- Whipped Cream Cheese- Makes the dip smooth, spreadable and ultra creamy. I use Philadelphia Original Whipped Cream Cheese.
- Mayonnaise- Adds richness and gives it that classic BLT vibe. I like Dukes.
- Ranch Dip Mix Packet- Adds lots of flavor that compliments the bacon so well. I use Hidden Valley.
- Garlic Powder- Boosts the savory flavor without competing with the ranch. I use Mccormick.
- Black Pepper- Adds a gentle heat and balances out the creamy base.
Instructions
Heres how to make this delicious appetizer. You can find the full ingredients along with instructions on the recipe card below.
In a large bowl, stir together the sour cream, whipped cream cheese, mayo, ranch packet, garlic powder, black pepper and ¼ cup of the bacon bits.

Add the mixture to an 8 x 8" serving dish and smooth it out until the mixture is flat and even. Evenly spread lettuce out on top followed by the diced tomatoes and crumbled bacon.
PRO TIP: Seed and drain the tomatoes to avoid a watery dip.

Serve with bagel or pita chips and enjoy! I love Stacys Bagel Chips for this.
Can I Make This Dip Ahead Of Time?
Yes, you make this dip ahead of time for sure. Just prepare the creamy base but wait to add the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and bacon bits until you're ready to serve.
What Can I Serve This With?
This dip is perfect to serve with bagel chips, pita chips, crackers, toasted bread or veggies. I personally love it with almost any flavor of Stacys Bagel Chips.
Can I Use Regular Cream Cheese Instead Of Whipped?
Yes, you can use regular cream cheese just be sure to soften it first so the dip will be spreadable.
Can I Use Bacon Bits Instead Of Crumbled Bacon?
Cooked and crumbled bacon has a much better flavor and texture for this dip. It honestly looks more appealing, too. Bacon bits will work in a pinch, though.
Storage
Place the dip into an air tight container and it will last in the fridge for up to three days.
